📨 Letters sent by EUEA

➖ The EUEA sent a letter to the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine with proposals for the draft Law of Ukraine "On Amendments to Certain Laws of Ukraine Regarding the Introduction of the Register of Issuance, Use and Termination of the Guarantee of Origin of Electric Energy Produced from Renewable Energy Sources."

➖On September 28, the EUEA sent to the Chairman of the Board of Ukrenergo a letter regarding the project of changes to the tariff for electric energy transmission services for 2023.

✅ Today, on September 30, at a meeting of the NEURC, the size of the green tariff for the IV quarter of 2022 was established, which corresponds to the current exchange rate of the euro.

📊 Settlements of the Guaranteed buyer

On September 28, 2021, SE "Guaranteed Buyer" transferred UAH 1 billion to RES producers in order to repay debts for 2021. The level of settlements for 2021 is 97.6%.

SE "Guaranteed Buyer" has 100% payment to producers at the "green" tariff for January-September and November-December 2021. The enterprise will have to pay literally a quarter of the amount for October of the same year, in order to close this issue forever.

Settlement level for September 2022 - 66.4%; in general for 2022 - 46.9%. Debt of NPC "Ukrenergo" - UAH 12.3 billion.

⚡️Ukrenergo announced the payment of UAH 6.6 billion to the Guaranteed Buyer for the service to increase the share of RES

«Almost half of this money, UAH 3 billion, was earned at auctions for access to interstate lines for the export of electricity, and another UAH 2.4 billion was received from the transmission tariff. The remaining UAH 1.2 billion is a $32 million loan from Oschadbank», - noted Volodymyr Kudrytskyi.

💲NEURC is going to fine Ukrenergo for late payments to green energy enterprises

The regulator plans to fine Ukrenergo UAH 850 000 for delaying payments to green energy companies in the March-June 2022 period.

Consideration of this issue will take place at the meeting of the NEURC on October 4. Justification of the Draft Resolution.

At the meeting, it is also planned to approve the draft resolution on setting maximum prices on the electricity market.

UAH 2,476/MWh - maximum price caps for hours of minimum load (from 00:00 to 07:00 and from 23:00 to 24:00);
UAH 4,952/MWh – maximum price caps for hours of maximum load (from 07:00 to 23:00);
UAH 10.0/MWh - the minimum price cap.
