#TSO tariff

Today, on February 11, 2022, an open hearing of the NEURC was held, one of the items on the agenda was a submission for public discussion of the draft resolution of the NEURC on the revision of the tariff for electricity transmission services. According to the results of the meeting, the Commission agreed on the decision to submit the tariff for open discussion. Important, that the transmission tariff proposed by Ukrenergo is UAH 446 per MWh, in its draft resolution the NEURC offers a tariff of UAH 417.71 per MWh. Therefore, we are waiting for the announcement of an open discussion of the proposed tariff of the Regulator, in the meantime, EUEA will prepare its justifications of the TSO tariff size. It will be recalled, that on February 7 there was a public discussion at Ukrenergo, a review of the TSO tariff, where EUEA made comments and sent a letter in advance (details).

#Signed acts for December 2021

Today, on February 11, 2022, at the meeting, the NEURC also approved the amount of the service cost to increase the share of electricity production from alternative energy sources provided by SE "Guaranteed Buyer" in December 2021. This means that the acts for December have already been signed, and RES producers will receive 100% payment for December 2021. Regarding other months, we are waiting for changes in signatures and payments during February.

#Guaranteed Buyer Payments

January 2022 (20 days) 100%, paid UAH 2.35 billion to the renewable generation. The state of settlements for 2020 - debts are fully repaid. In 2021, payments remained at an average of 83.5%.

Isolated mode February 24-26, 2022. System tests of the Integrated Power System of Ukraine (IPS) in the conditions of the isolated mode from the power systems of neighboring countries will be carried out on February 24-26, the Chairman of NPC "Ukrenergo" Volodymyr Kudrytsky confirmed (Source - Interfax).

#National Renewable Energy Action Plan

EUEA is finalizing comments on the draft National Action Plan for the Development of Renewable Energy (NREAP 2030), and thanks IMEPOWER for preparing the draft letter and to the companies that sent their comments.

#EUEA meeting with the Office of the President of Ukraine

February 8, 2022,  representatives of the European-Ukrainian Energy Agency met with Rostyslav Shurma, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine. Notes from the meeting were sent earlier. As a result, it was agreed that the European-Ukrainian Energy Agency will prepare a number of proposals on the above issues in the near future and will send them for consideration to the Office of the President.
