Vitalii Shubin is acting Minister of Energy and Environmental Protection; In the next ten years, Ukrenergo plans to invest UAH 69 billion in the development of the transmission system; Regulator Approves Guaranteed Buyer tariffs for January and February 2020; Restriction of electricity supply to the Guaranteed Buyer by Energoatom; Generation of electricity from RES in Ukraine already exceeds production at thermal power plants in some hours; The Board of the National Bank has decided to reduce the key policy rate to 10% per annum.

EUEA met with E-Control and Austrian Energy Agency

Members of European-Ukrainian Energy Agency met with E-Control (Austrian State Regulator of Energy Policy) and the Austrian Energy Agency, which implement the twining project Strengthening capacity of the State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine (SAEE) on the development of energy production from renewable energy sources, production and use of alternative fuels.
