Rholang at Devcon3, Developer Retreat, platform.coop and full Wiki

During this past month, we generated a lot of new content for the community at large. Greg Meredith and Kent Shikama presented Rholang at Devcon3 to a packed room.

Immediately following Devcon, we at the RChain Cooperative held our first Developers Retreat for a select group of individuals who have been working on the platform or will be working on the platform in the near future. The total attendance was 21 individuals, 19 of which were developers. As a result of the many collaborations and organization that came from the retreat, we have put together a Core wiki for any interested developers who wish to work on the platform with our team in our open-source ecosystem.

Board members Ian Bloom and Greg Meredith went to NYC this past month to participate in the Internet Society’s Platform Cooperativism conference. This conference was about reimagining public companies with cooperative business models.

Because RChain is a cooperative tasked with building out a public information utility, the partnership prospects were amazing and many business cards were exchanged, and the RChain Cooperative will become more involved in the platform co-op movement going forward.

The panel that greg was on was titled "Next Money: New Tech for New Finance."

Members all also planning a governance conference for smid Feburary 2018, more details coming soon!

For the most up to date information, you'll need to become a member and join the ongoing discussions. Find out how below.
