Board members Ian Bloom and Greg Meredith went to NYC this past month to participate in the Internet Society’s Platform Cooperativism conference. This conference was about reimagining public companies with cooperative business models. Because RChain is a cooperative tasked with building out a public information utility, the partnership prospects were amazing and many business cards were exchanged, and the RChain Cooperative will become more involved in the platform co-op movement going forward. The panel that greg was on was titled "Next Money: New Tech for New Finance." Members all also planning a governance conference for smid Feburary 2018, more details coming soon!
