Intro to RChain at PencilWorks Co-work.

During the last week of May, RChain representatives Greg, Ed, and Navneet were in New York City participating in many events such as Consensus 2017 and Token Summit.

RChain, with the help of Nathan Windsor, presented to a crowd of 60+ industry leaders at a meetup at the PencilWorks Co-work space in Brooklyn.

Community Debriefs

Every Wednesday the team joins in a hangout that streams to RChain’s Youtube.

Open source governance is in the RChain Cooperatives' ethos. If you’d like to take part in the process, please introduce yourself to the community next Wednesday.

May 31st

May 24th

- Rholang Compiler update - Hello World Compiled! 
- RChain can now work on the Rholang compiler while we are doing work on reimplementing the Rosette virtual machine.
- The team completed BNCF representation of the byte code for the VMvirtual machine and assembler.
- Mike Stay demonstrates the bnfc implementation of the Rosette compiler. in the Casper Standup.
- Joseph Denman gave updates on Automated Economic Quantification ("the pricing schedule"),  
- Ed gives operational updates on the RChain Holdings company, investment prospects, new contractors, and potential partners for micro-transactions for content delivery.
- Evan Jensen has extended his agreement as legal counsel and will now be the general counsel for RChain Cooperative as well as RChain Holdings.
- Greg closes with membership updates and mentions an open experiment in using a members-only Rocket.Chat channel for ongoing development.

Continuing the search for platform developers

A lot of great candidates have shown their interest in helping to build the RChain Platform and we are continuing the search to find the best all-around fits.  Here are the current openings.

     - Contract developers

Cooperative Governance process updates

Following the counsel of Evan Jensen, the RChain Cooperative will take a state-by-state approach to cooperative Member registration. Specific exceptions are needed for the use of tokens and patronage dividends.

Look for more information coming soon about available registrations for Washington and other states.
