Liebe Freundinnen und Freunde globaler Zusammenhänge!

Nach über vier Jahren sind erste Teile der Sammlungen des Ethnologischen Museums und des Museums für Asiatische Kunst der Staatlichen Museen zu Berlin endlich wieder erlebbar. Im geschichtspolitisch recht vermaledeiten Humboldt Forum, wird daher an diesem Wochenende ein mehrtägiger Festakt ausgerichtet.

Über die Frage, ob uns in diesem Fall Zynismus oder Ignoranz besser weiterhelfen, müssen wir uns an anderer Stelle verständigen. Fröhlich stimmt hingegen, dass die Tar-Virtuosin Elshan Ghasimi zu diesem Anlass endlich wieder in Berlin zu hören sein wird!

In der zwei Tage andauernde Konzertinstallation ASED von Sandeep Bhagwati ist sie und die formidablen Kolleginnen des Ensembles Extrakte im Hörraum Musikethnologie im 2. OG des Schlosses zu finden.

Die Installation startet jeweils um elf und ist mit Unterbrechung bis 21:30, am Samstag, und bis 18:30 am Sonntag zu besuchen. Wer insbesondere Elshan Ghasimi spielen hören möchte, der besuche sie zu folgenden Zeiten:

Samstag 25.9.2021

14:30 – 15:30 / 17:00 – 18:30

Sonntag 26.9.2021

11:00 – 12:30

Der Eintritt ist frei. JEDOCH muss ein Zeitfensterticket gebucht werden.

Dear friends and critics of global connections!

After more than four years, the first parts of the collections of the Ethnological Museum and the Museum of Asian Art of the National Museums in Berlin can finally be experienced again. This weekend, the Humboldt Forum, which is quite a historical-political disaster, will be the venue for a festive event lasting several days.

We will have to discuss elsewhere, the question of whether cynicism or ignorance is more helpful in this case. On the other hand, we are happy that the Tar virtuoso Elshan Ghasimi will finally be back in Berlin for this event!

In the two-day concert installation ASED by Sandeep Bhagwati, she and her formidable colleagues of the ensemble Extrakte can be found in the Hörraum Musikethnologie on the 2nd floor of the Palace.

The installation starts at eleven a.m. and can be visited intermittently until 21:30 on Saturday and 18:30 on Sunday. If you would like to hear Elshan Ghasimi play, please visit her at the following times:
