| Dear friends,
next Saturday afternoon one of the, for Bublitz, most memorable exhibitions of the last nine years will open.
Memorable for me personally, not least because the dialogical mode of my work as a curator has given rise to a new form. The Dutch pilgrim and performance artist Edwin W. Moes and myself will tell the story of the mythical fictional person Gabriel in the future. The Marian Antiphons are the first chapter of this collaboration.
The motto of the exhibition by Hardenberg/Novalis is not surprising. The fragment from 1799, leads us directly into the heart of his philosophy, the magical idealism in the succession of Immanuel Kant. A parable about freedom, about art and about the worlds that live in us. - The Corona Virus, which has lifted us all out of reality and thus gives us the chance to see it in a new way, also requires special guidelines for the exhibition. In accordance with the required hygiene regulations, we will open the exhibition on Saturday 13 June from 3 pm to 6 pm. Within this period, we invite you to enter the exhibition in small groups. In front of the door of Uhlandstraße 147 there will be drinks, conversation and maybe even some magic.
Our general opening hours are on Tuesday and Saturday afternoon from 15 - 18 o'clock and by private arrangement.
On behalf of Edwin W. Moes and Bublitz, we invite you to explore this exhibition!
Yours truly, Julian M.H. Schindele | |
