Wir als Betrachter werden dabei Zeugen einer realen, doch erfundenen mystischen und mythischen Handlung, die Moes/Gabriel an und in sich erlebt. Jenseits der Kunst, doch durch ihre Mittel. Die „Heirat zwischen Künstler und Pilger.“

Liebe Gäste, liebe Leser*Innen,

nun, nach knapp dreimonatiger Pause, freut es uns Sie endlich wieder zu einer Ausstellung in den Thesaurós. Uhlandstraße. einladen zu können. Und wie Sie im Einleitungszitat gelesen haben, dürfte es sehr sehr interessant werden.

Wir begleiten Gabriel – den Gottsucher, Pilger, Künstler, Aktivisten, Menschen und Freund – auf einer Station und bei einer Performance seiner 2015 begonnenen Pilgerschaft. (Austragungs-)Ort ist die Templerburg und Wehrklosteranlage Convento de Christo in Tomar, Portugal.

Die Ausstellung Marianische Antiphonen I „Unter deinen Schutz und Schirm fliehen wir“ hat die Suche nach der mythischen Gestalt Marias zu ihrem Mittelpunkt. Maria wird dabei nicht nur als christliche Mutter Gottes erlebt, sondern auch als mächtige Symbolgestalt, die das weibliche Antlitz Gottes repräsentiert. Kulturgeschichtlich eingebettet, erscheint dieses in immer wieder neuen Formen, Varianten und Inkarnationen.

Autoren der Performance und Ausstellung sind Julian M.H. Schindele und Edwin W. Moes – der auch Gabriel verkörpert. Die Fotografien sind von Stefan Hähnel.

Das Corona-Virus, dass uns alle aus der Realität gehoben hat und uns damit die Chance gibt diese neu zu sehen, gebietet auch für diese Ausstellung besondere Vorgaben. Entsprechend der gebotenen Hygieneauflagen werden wir am Samstag den 13. Juni die Ausstellung von 15 – bis 18 Uhr eröffnen. Innerhalb dieses Zeitraums laden wir Sie ein, diese in Kleingruppen zu betreten. Vor der Tür der Uhlandstraße 147 gibt es entsprechende Getränke, Gespräch und Wegzehrung.

Ansonsten gelten unsere normalen Öffnungszeiten am Dienstag und Samstag Nachmittag von 15 – 18 Uhr sowie nach privater Vereinbarungen.

The "marriage between artist and pilgrim."

Dear guests, dear readers,

now, after a break of almost three months, we are especially pleased to welcome you again to an exhibition at the Bublitz. Thesaurós. Uhlandstraße. And as you have read in the introductory quotation, we will be going full blast and accompanying Gabriel - the god-seeker, pilgrim, artist, activist, human being and friend - on a performance and station of his pilgrimage: To the Templar castle Convento de Christo in Portugal.

The exhibition Marian Antiphons I "Under thy protection and shield we flee" focuses on the search, contemplation and refuge in the mythical figure of Mary. A Mary who is experienced not only as the Christian mother of God, but as a powerful symbolic figure representing the female face of God.

The authors of the performance and exhibition are Julian M.H. Schindele and Edwin W. Moes - who also embodies Gabriel. The photographs are by Stefan Hähnel.

The Corona Virus, which has lifted us all out of reality and thus gives us the chance to see it in a new way, also requires special guidelines for the exhibition. In accordance with the required hygiene regulations, we will open the exhibition on Saturday 13 June from 3 pm to 6 pm. Within this period, we invite you to enter the exhibition in small groups. In front of the door of Uhlandstraße 147 there will be appropriate drinks, conversation and provisions for the way.

Otherwise our normal opening hours are on Tuesday and Saturday afternoon from 3 pm - 6 pm and by private arrangement.
