According to the CEFR scale, higher level students "can understand a wide range of demanding, longer texts, and recognise implicit meaning". We think it is important to guide our students and help them master these skills so that they are able to do it outside the classroom. Let`s have a look at different strategies how we can provide our students with this practice in a meaningful way. The tasks and examples are based on an Advanced level of National Geographic Learning bestseller, Outcomes 2nd ed.
