“It’s been a while since our last digest! We’ve been focused on making your course development experience even smoother. Today, we’re sharing updates that make your video lessons smoother to watch, help organize multiple courses, and streamline your daily workflow. Read on to learn more.”

Make your videos easier to follow

Let students enjoy your courses the same way they enjoy YouTube videos!

In the lesson builder, you can now use timestamps for your video lessons and show them under your uploaded videos and on the player timeline. Highlight your video lesson's key points with mm:ss or hh:mm:ss timestamps and add brief descriptions to make navigation easier for students.

On top of that, in your course settings, under the “Pricing plans” tab → “Course access,” you can allow students to resume videos from where they left off. This will help you keep engagement high, especially with long video lessons.

Leverage both features to boost course completion rates and spice up your students’ learning journey.

To give you an idea, you can add timestamps like “Introduction,” “Theory,” “Practice,” and “Homework,” and enable the “Playback resume” feature as a perk of paid or advanced student plans.

Enhance video lessons

Group your online courses into folders

More courses mean more opportunities and a greater need to keep your academy neatly organized. Now you can structure your academy homepage using groups and sort courses by topic, student proficiency, or field of study for smoother navigation and quicker search results.

Courses aren’t assigned to any group by default, but you can organize them in a few simple steps. Just select your course and click “Move to group.” Keep in mind that each course is limited to one group.

This will help you keep your courses clutter-free and your team aligned.

Group courses

Get more from your courses every day

In your “Audience” tab, you can now edit your students’ login and password, send them a message with a quick-access link, or even log in to their account yourself to resolve any issues more efficiently.

When exporting data, you’ll now see your students’ current course restrictions (previously available only in the “Students” tab).

Other than that, in “Statistics” → “Payments,” you can now filter student payments by pricing plan. This will help you monitor transactions more carefully and streamline reporting.
