“We never take a break from improving SendPulse’s online course builder. This time, we’ve added an option to invite your students from other courses and revamped user role management and review and rating collection features to streamline your daily online course routine.”

Inviting students from other courses

To gain access to your course materials, students must be registered for your course. Students can enroll in a course themselves via your course website, or you can add them manually via your personal account. From now on, you can also invite your students from other courses to participate in another course.

Here’s how you can invite your students from other courses:

  • In the “EDU” tab, find the course you want to invite students to.
  • Go to the “Students” tab and click “Invite students.”
  • In the pop-up window, select the “From other courses” tab and configure your invitation — specify the course you want to invite your students from, choose a tag, student progress level, invitation email language, and assign a new tag if needed.

While configuring your student invitation email, you will immediately see the number of students that meet your specified criteria.

The “Reviews” widget

SendPulse’s online course builder now includes a user role system, so instructors are added via your account settings instead of the “Overview” tab, as it was before.

A user role is a set of permissions and restrictions that define how an individual can manage and alter what you create.

You can pick a standard “CRM/EDU Manager” role or create a custom one with a unique set of permissions. You will always be able to see the features and services each user has access to and tailor these settings to your needs.

Advanced student review and rating options

Advanced student review and rating options

You can now disable student review and rating collection in your course settings. By default, this option is enabled.

Here’s what will happen if you disable student review and rating collection:

  • The “Reviews” tab will mention that you do not collect student reviews.
  • Rating data will not be depicted in student accounts.
  • Student accounts will not include the option to review or rate your course.
