COMMUNITY NEWS Monday, November 27, 2017 - TOPIC: Documentary Opportunity?
Hey guys, on the heels of the Vice Documentary comes another documentary film company who wants to interview TI's. Their email to me is posted below. Tonight, we'll talk about the pros and cons and those that wish to participate can make an informed decision. PACTS International Monday Night Podcast
BRITISH DOCUMENTARY FILM COMPANY, ICONFILMS, IS NOW LOOKING FOR A FEW GOOD TI'S IN THE SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA FOR THEIR UPCOMING DOCUMENTARY PROJECT The following email was sent to me by the Assistant Producer. I've provided her contact email so that those interested may respond. "We’re now thinking that it might be really nice to get a few people (maybe between 4 and 6) together, so that we can hear about the different types of things that people have experienced. We want to illustrate that electronic harassment is a lot more widespread than a lot of people may realize. It would be so great if we had time to meet people individually but, unfortunately, we just won’t be able to! I don’t suppose you know of a few people in the Bay Area who might be up for being involved? We are also hoping that someone might be so kind as to show us the lengths that some people can go to, in order to shield themselves from harassment. Do you think that would be possible? Thank you again for your help, I really appreciate it. Very best wishes, Rachel Rachel.Keenan@iconfilms.co.uk"

| | TI Artist Webpage Posted - 'Strength in Numbers'
For TI artists: I put up a webpage called strengthinnumbersti.wordpress.com. I am hoping that TIs who are artists of any sort (painters, poets, musicians, dancers, anything creative) will post their work. Art gives us a chance to express ourselves in a way that I think is very direct, requires less cerebral processing and speaks directly to the gut and heart. I'm hoping we can inspire and encourage each other.
If you want to express yourself in the usual way that is very welcome too. I will monitor the site and weed out what is obviously posted by perps as much as I can.
I would like to put together a book/CD/DVD (not certain yet which will work best and maybe all 3) of works by TIs. I think that even if I wasn't a TI, the theme would interest me. We are saddled with such an intense emotional experience and tragic as it is, it's great material for art.
If the collection of works can be sold for a profit, it will go into a fund for things that will benefit us all. I'm thinking an intentional living community for TIs or the expensive equipment needed to prove that DEWs are being used against us.
Not sure whether it would be best to loan the equipment to TIs for the time they need to prove their case, or to have a small team of people trained to use the equipment that could show up and do the investigation. Derrick at PACTS is already putting together an advocacy program that will do this type of thing so maybe we could just put the money towards that.
Anyway, I am jumping the gun. For now let's use the site for creative interaction. I'm looking forward to it! Liza lizacarlile1970@gmail.com
